Location

Quepos/Manuel Antonio is located on the Costanera Sur highway running parallel to the Pacific coastline. It is a scenic 3 - 4 hour journey from San Jose to Manuel Antonio passing through the Aguacate mountain range before descending to the coast where the highway winds its way running parallel to the coastline.

By Car

Several car rental companies are located in Quepos/Manuel Antonio area for you to select the vehicle for you to explore the area on your own.

Villas Lirio is only minutes away from the city of Quepos and the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park.

When you arrive into Quepos, look for the signs to Manuel Antonio. Follow this road as it goes through Quepos then climbs sharply into the forest covered hills winding itself along the coastal ridge. Follow this road for 4 kms.

As you are ascending up a steep section to the top of the hill, you will see the Manuel Antonio School (Escuela) on the left side of the road. Do not drive pass the school. You will see a road that makes a sharp 180 degree turn to your left heading up a small rise passing a stone wall on your right hand side. Follow this road around the corner and you will find Villas Lirio on the right hand side. Welcome to your new home away from home.

By Plane

There is an airport 5 kms outside Quepos.

There are regular scheduled domestic flights to and from San Jose.

Flights from San Jose are a short scenic 20 minute ride.

By Bus

Regular bus service departs San Jose for Manuel Antonio via Quepos. The buses depart in San Jose at the Coca-Cola Terminal (Call 16, Avienida 1/3)

It is recommended that you purchase your tickets in advance as these buses fill up fast to this popular destination. You can take a direct express bus which take 3 1/2 hours to reach Manuel Antonio or you can take colectivo (non-express) bus which takes 4 1/2 - 5 hours stopping frequently picking up passengers en route to Manuel Antonio.
